It's not like they're asking us to do rocket science, oh wait, yeah it is. Our
first six weeks in Mr.del Castillo's seventh period Principle's of Technology class our main goal was to just get our rocket
off the ground. With little instruction we began the construction of our very first rocket. At the end of the six weeks, whether
our rocket flew, determined whether or not you passed. The next six weeks our new goal was to make a rocket that flew straight.
With a little more instruction, we achieved our goal. The third six weeks to end our semester, our goal was
height. The rocket's that flew up to 1,800 ft or close, passed. One student had from our class had the opportunity
to go visit the company that started this program, the Texas Space Grant Consortium. He traveled one weekend with Mr.del and
another student from eight period and they built a rocket together and launched it. They got to meet the man in charge of
making this class happen, Brett Williams. To start the year off after the first semester when we came back
to school we were faced with the challenge of constructing as a group, a rocket that could take a one-pound payload into the
sky. Our classes split up into groups. Each group was assigned a job to do dealing with the construction
of the rocket
